New Europe 100 Seeks Innovators from CEE

The New Europe 100 (NE100) list shows a modern, innovative side of Central and Eastern Europe 25 years after the economic transformation of the region. The yearly selection of a 100 leading innovators from our part of Europe provides an opportunity to watch the newest trends in the development of the region and promote Central and Eastern European achievements to the world. NE100 creates a network of innovators from the region, who use new technologies in business, public administration, science, media and culture.

We are looking for outstanding individuals or teams of individuals from Central and Eastern Europe who take advantage of new technologies in the Digital Age in their core activities or in order to boost their cause. Nominations can be submitted until September 15th.

Challengers meet one or more of the following criteria: Courage for Innovation: A nominee shall have a proven record of challenging the status quo in a respective area and/or be considered a game changer Big Ideas: A nominee’s idea shall be groundbreaking and address the big problems of the society. Challengers’ projects and actions bring positive change into the ways of doing business and increase the benefits of their communities—locally, globally, etc. They can also bring important social or cultural benefits. Impact: A nominee already reaches or bears a potential for reaching global scale or significantly changes the local circumstances.

Challengers can come from different backgrounds including: business, culture, media, politics, public sector, social entrepreneurship, technology.
