Modular Training Cycle A2
This event is part of the KINTSUGI Pilot project and represents the second module (A2) of the modular training cycle.
Target group: approx. 30 frontline professionals — teachers, medical staff, social workers, chaplains, and municipal employees — who work directly with war-affected populations in Zakarpattia.
During this two-day training, participants will:
-receive practical training in early trauma intervention and psychological first aid,
-learn crisis stabilization techniques applicable in schools, medical settings, and communities,
-develop strategies to prevent burnout and manage secondary traumatic stress.
The A2 module uses interactive and practice-oriented methods, including simulations, role-plays, and body-based stabilization techniques. Training is co-developed and co-delivered by Slovak and Czech trauma experts with experience in psychosocial interventions, together with Tree of My Life trainers.
Insights and participant feedback will contribute to the content of the localized KINTSUGI Toolkit and support the creation of sustainable response mechanisms within professional systems in Zakarpattia. This module strengthens the capacity of key local actors to respond safely and early to psychological distress in their communities.
