Workshop in Bratislava

Unlike the workshop in České Budějovice, the objective of this one, in Bratislava, will be to analyze the current and historical situation (2000-2020) of the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language in upper secondary education (high schools), universities, colleges. The statistical and descriptive data presented will then be contrasted with the results for lower education analyzed during the workshop in Bratislava. It will create a complete image of the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language in the countries of the V4 group Particular issues will be presented: - Comparison of foreign languages education within the public education system in V4 countries: legal frame, differences (first/second language introduction, CEFR level achieved, compulsory/optional character of different languages, etc.); problems and solutions, demolinguistic trends. - Spanish as a foreign language and other languages in primary/secondary/tertiary education in Central Europe (V4 countries) - Spanish as a foreign language and other languages in public/private education in Central Europe (V4 countries). https://spanish.filg.uj.edu.pl/bratislava-2024
