As part of the capacity-building component of the Visegrad-Georgia Cooperation for Creative Tourism Development (V422310128) project, a four-day online academy on creative tourism is scheduled for 6,7,13,14 February 2024. The sessions will be facilitated with simultaneous translation from English to Polish, Hungarian, Czech, and Georgian languages. The sessions will be recorded and placed on a YouTube channel and thus will be accessible beyond the project's lifetime. The target audience comprises individuals and organizations from Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Georgia engaged in local creative tourism. Entrepreneurs and startups with expertise in traditional handicrafts, visual arts, traditional gastronomy, culinary practices, local product-making traditions, music, performing arts, organizing rituals, festive events, etc., are encouraged to participate. Eligible participants should be capable of creating and implementing tourism products utilizing the mentioned and other intangible cultural resources. Selection of participants will be through an open call, with preference given to residents of the specified regions and those committed to attending all four training sessions. Upon completion of the training course, participants will be awarded relevant certificates and provided with training materials. The knowledge gained from the training will not only facilitate the implementation of innovative ideas, services, and products but will also provide participants with the opportunity to actively participate in the Contest of Ideas on creative tourism products sponsored by the project. https://www.facebook.com/V422310128
