Open Round Table on Challenges in Business Education

A round table with professors and students, titled "Challenges in Business Education: How to Motivate and Prepare Students for Their Future Careers in the Digital Age?" , will be held at Matej Bel University, Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, on 17 January and opened to the public. The goal of this event is to launch a provocative debate on key points that could improve university education. The event will be promoted by all the three universities by their websites and social media channels. Four speakers will intervene in the morning part, followed by open debates, from 9 until 12: 1) Dr. András Rideg: New Business Models New Opportunities: Entrepreneurs in the Modern Era (introduction; 15 min.); 2) Tímea Szigeti: Comparative Project Strategies for AI integration in Business and Higher Education; 3) doc. Ing. Ľuboš Elexa, PhD.: Smart or Sneaky? The Wild World of AI in Student Life (15 min.); 4) Dr. A. Seberíni: A Workshop for Students - The Psychological Impacts of the Internet on the Behavior and Health of Young People (40 min.). From 14 until 16: An open discussion led by V. Hinčica on whether competitions and case competitions are effective educational tools in the digital era. Evidence from existing research will be provided, and the results of the previous competition sponsored by the VF will be assessed. Online workshop on evaluating and interpreting detector data

Content: This online workshop will focus on discussing the evaluated data from the detectors. Participants will share their findings, interpret what the data reveals about cosmic rays, and reflect on their measurement processes. The discussion will explore what the results mean in the context of cosmic ray detection and brainstorm how to refine their methods for even clearer results in future experiments. Realization: The workshop will be conducted online with group discussions and presentations on data interpretation. Fit into bigger project idea: This session promotes critical thinking by encouraging students and teachers to assess and interpret real experimental data. workshop sessions in Poland

Over the course of the project, eight applied theatre or drama workshop sessions will be organized across Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic, In Poland workshops target young people aged 14–20, from marginalized backgrounds living in state care. The workshops will be held with Robinson Foundation in different state care, aiming to reach at least 12 younsgters. Each session will designed to be both educational and participatory, using non-formal education methods such as role plays, scenario discussions, peer learning, and real-life case studies. The workshops aimed to: • Raise awareness about human trafficking, grooming, and online exploitation. • Equip participants with practical tools to recognize risk situations and seek help. • Promote self-advocacy, self-esteem, and critical thinking.
