Conference on Internet Content Regulation in the V4 region

The upcoming conference on internet content regulation in the V4 region, to be held in Prague, Czech Republic, at the Faculty of Law of Charles University, promises to be a pivotal event for policymakers, legal experts, and administrators. This conference will delve into a comprehensive analysis of internet content regulation laws within the Visegrad Four countries, incorporating a multidimensional perspective that includes case-law from the European Court of Human Rights, relevant EU law, and local judicial decisions. Participants will also gain insights into the administrative viewpoints from each country, providing a holistic understanding of the mechanisms and implications of internet regulation. The event aims to foster dialogue, share best practices, and explore effective strategies for balancing national security concerns with the protection of fundamental rights in the digital age. The primary target group is the academic community of the V4 countries, but Papers will be accepted also from outside of the region, if the topic is sufficiently relevant. The event will give the best opportunity to promote the research project and present our results in a specific panel. It is planned to hold side events (round-tables) with lawyers, government officials and other stakeholders. https://prf.cuni.cz/aktuality/conference-internet-content-regulation-v4-region
