PhD Study in the Age of AI – workshop on AI in higher education and research at AGH University of Krakow

The 3-day workshop will bring together experts, educators, PhD students, and other relevant staff from all consortium members. The academic community of AGH will be invited to attend on-site or join the online audience. To allow morning arrivals from Visegrad region, the workshop will begin with an afternoon session featuring an invited talk by an external expert, followed by keynote presentations from each partner. The second day will focus on the theme “PhD Study in the Age of AI.”. AGH has selected this topic due to its strong doctoral community (856 PhD students) and as a home to Poland’s only Center of Excellence in AI, where many PhD students are directly engaged with AI research. PhD students are one of the key target groups for the project, as AI significantly impacts all their roles: as students, educators, and researchers. The second day will open with presentations related to the focus topic, followed by a panel discussion giving audience members the opportunity to ask questions to a group of experts. The afternoon will feature a broader range of topics, with each consortium partner presenting recent achievements in AI for education or research. The final day will be reserved for closed sessions. Firstly, the project steering committee meeting focused on project organization, workshop evaluation, and exploring project opportunities. In parallel, a PhD Forum will take place, offering a unique opportunity for PhD students to present their work to peers. https://cdsi.agh.edu.pl/en/v4ai

Modular Training Cycle A2

This event is part of the KINTSUGI Pilot project and represents the second module (A2) of the modular training cycle. Target group: approx. 30 frontline professionals — teachers, medical staff, social workers, chaplains, and municipal employees — who work directly with war-affected populations in Zakarpattia. During this two-day training, participants will: -receive practical training in early trauma intervention and psychological first aid, -learn crisis stabilization techniques applicable in schools, medical settings, and communities, -develop strategies to prevent burnout and manage secondary traumatic stress. The A2 module uses interactive and practice-oriented methods, including simulations, role-plays, and body-based stabilization techniques. Training is co-developed and co-delivered by Slovak and Czech trauma experts with experience in psychosocial interventions, together with Tree of My Life trainers. Insights and participant feedback will contribute to the content of the localized KINTSUGI Toolkit and support the creation of sustainable response mechanisms within professional systems in Zakarpattia. This module strengthens the capacity of key local actors to respond safely and early to psychological distress in their communities. https://www.facebook.com/share/1A5vhnqhVr/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Modular Training Cycle A1

This event is part of the KINTSUGI Pilot project and represents the first module (A1) of the modular training cycle. Target group: approx. 30 community members and internally displaced persons. During this two-day participatory training, participants will gain practical tools for emotional self-regulation, stress reduction, and resilience-building. They will learn how to facilitate peer-led support groups and support other community members in a safe and non-clinical way. Training combines experiential learning, art-therapy and body-based techniques, and is co-developed by Slovak and Czech trauma experts together with Tree of My Life trainers. Insights from this module will feed into the development of the localized KINTSUGI Toolkit. The event contributes to the creation of local peer-support micro-networks and long-term trauma-informed recovery capacity in Zakarpattia. https://www.facebook.com/share/19wV4gjoX6/
