The hybrid event BIM Friday 2025 will be the third meeting of this kind in Ostrava, where we introduce the issue of BIM modelling, and give space to companies, researchers and students working with BIM methodology to present their projects. The event is intended for students who want to learn about BIM, have studied or are considering studying BIM engineering at our faculty, and for enthusiasts from academia and practice. In the morning we will introduce BIM issues for beginners and in the afternoon we will offer participants more expert lectures on current topics in this area. The whole event will be recorded and registered participants will be able to watch the recording later. This event will also serve to establish contact with companies and possibly link the proposed methodology with real data about used materials. https://www.fast.vsb.cz/cs/

EXHIBITION

The exhibition takes place for ten days in an empty house in the center of Prague, where students from various universities (from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland) transform abandoned spaces into an exhibition show. Each studio is assigned a room, a theme (this year's theme is "Power") and the freedom to transform the space into a site-specific installation in any way they like. The result is a site-specific exhibition that brings otherwise unused space to life for a unique, unrepeatable cultural experience. https://www.prehlidkapokoje.cz
