Visegrad Prize goes to National Cultural Center in Warsaw
The Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic awarded the Visegrad Prize for 2021 during the meeting of the Ministers of Culture of the countries of the Visegrad Group.
The Ministers of Culture Silvia Hroncová (Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic), Michal Šašek (Deputy Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic), Piotr Gliński (Minister of Culture and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Poland) and János Csák (Minister of Culture and Innovation of Hungary) met at the SNG to talk about cooperation in the field of cultural heritage protection in the context of the current extraordinary events.
On this occasion, the National Cultural Center in Warsaw was rewarded with the Visegrad Prize for the organization of the International Music Festival of Central and Eastern Europe “Festiwal Eufonie”. The executive director Petr Mareš also participated in the ceremony, as the Visegrad Fund financially supported this award with the amount of 20,000 euros.
