A unique partnership between the Western Balkans Fund and Visegrad Fund has created the joint Fellowship Program.

This program offers an exceptional opportunity for PhD holders and students, lecturers, research, and science specialists from the Visegrad countries (V4) to collaborate with host institutions in the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, or Serbia). Similarly, scholars from the Western Balkans can also pursue fellowships in the V4 region.

Western Balkans-Visegrad Fellowships foster academic exchange and collaboration, allowing participants to connect with different perspectives and contribute to the stability and development of both regions. Funding is available for short-term stays.
