Our Four Intensive Days in Moldova
“Four intensive days of enriching meetings and discussions with various stakeholders only confirmed our belief that Moldova is in a special momentum in which we want to participate as Visegrad Fund. We are open to the ideas of Moldovan citizens, always supporting the beneficiary-driven approach,“ says Anna Adamczyk, our Project Manager who has been to Moldova together with our Executive Director Petr Mareš.
During their trip, they had the chance to monitor project ‘Organizing a Placement Centre for vulnerable people who seek help and shelter at the Zabriceni monastery, including Ukrainian refugees. They also had the opportunity to give a presentation at the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer NORTEK and meet with Solidarity Fund Moldova and Local Action Group ‘Vasile Stroiecsu.
“I am pleased to have had the opportunity to meet with some amazing people during my trip to Moldova. It was an incredible experience to have met with Nicu Popescu, Deputy Prime Minister. I also had the privilege of meeting Andrea Cuzyova and Valeria Ieseanu of UNDP, and Ion Gumene and Iulia Ciumac of the Ministry of Finance,” says Petr Mareš.
Lastly, they have met with V4 Embassies and EU High Level Advisers, Mr. Jan Tombinski and Mr. Pawel Wojtuni.
Overall, it was a successful trip, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact of these meetings and collaborations in the near future.
