- The country of the fellow’s citizenship—Czechia (CZ), Hungary (HU), Poland (PL), Slovakia (SK), and in 2024 also Ukraine (UA)—must differ from the country of the host institution
- Potential fellows must either be full-time doctoral students or holders of a doctoral degree (regardless of their affiliation at the time of applying)
- The planned fellowship length is within the period of 2–10 weeks
- The support takes form of a lump sum scholarship amounting to €500/week paid in two instalments (80% and 20% respectively)
Please note that the capacity for 2024 Fellowships has been filled. Registration of new proposals will therefore only be possible from January 2025.
- Scanned valid ID document
- Scan of the doctoral diploma or a proof of enrollment in doctoral studies program
- Letter of invitation signed/stamped by the host institution detailing the precise length of the fellowship, its concrete nature, and the intended outcomes
- A letter of recommendation issued by the applicant’s affiliated (home) institution or by a relevant expert (for non-affiliated applicants)
For capacity reasons, preference will be given to those fellows who have not yet been supported in the past and whose proposals sufficiently justify the choice of the host.
Note: Capacity for 2024 fellowships was reached. As a result, registration of new proposals will only be possible from February 2025.
